Ethlete Lab Academy is led by people who know both the technology and the classroom.
Mike co-founded Ethlete Lab Academy to bridge esports, education, and career-connected learning, helping students turn gaming and technology into real-world skills and opportunities. He created the first state-certified esports pre-apprenticeship program and has extensive experience designing youth-focused learning programs rooted in teamwork, leadership, and digital skill development. He also serves on the Board of Advisors for Esports Ohio, helping shape the future of esports across the state.
As Head Coach of the Golden State Warriors Affiliate, Mike led the team to the 2023 NBA 2K League Championship, becoming the first Black coach to win a 5v5 championship. Across his career, he has coached, taught, and mentored young people, translating high-performance esports strategy into meaningful educational experiences that prepare students for future careers.
